Who’s the programmer?

Chris EnriquezChris is a full-stack developer who loves all things video games. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2010 with a degree in Industrial Engineering and moved to DC where he worked as an Engineer for the Navy. Sick of slowly going crazy in a cubicle drowning in bureaucracy, he turned his passion for games into a career while working on Midnight Tangent’s first game UPSAT in his spare time. Shortly after the game’s launch he took a job as a software developer at the energy efficiency company Opower. He spends his days honing his dev skills at pretty much the best place ever, and his nights playing, and now making, games! What time is left he devotes to his wonderful wife Kelsey…. so she doesn’t leave him 🙂

Don’t worry, I am by no means “good” at programming. I knew a bit about other languages, but had never used Java or programmed for Android. You should check out my post UPSAT: A history – Chapter 2

where I talk about how we got started. There’s some good reference links there for books and online courses I took for Java. What kind of apps are you making?
